True Grit: One of the Best Films in 2010

When looking at the movies that were released, the year of 2010 was a relatively weak year overall. The best picture of the year award only had a few films that were considered for it and they usually were acknowledged before they were released. Of these films there was one that was seen as one of the year's best very early on. True Grit was released in 2010 and immediately vaulted into the running for best picture. In addition to this award, True Grit was also in the running for many others.
